“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
(Jesus words in Matthew 11 from The Message paraphrase.)
Join us on a four-week journey to reflect on the Advent themes of Hope, Preparation, Joy and Love using four selected meditations. Taketime meditations use your imagination to provide a calm, comfortable space in which to meet God.
All are welcomed to enjoy these meditations, which are intentionally inclusive, non-directive and experiential. No faith background or knowledge is needed to attend, enjoy and benefit from this Taketime introduction.
In the busy run up to Christmas this is a chance to pause, to relax, to reflect and to meet God. No-one will put you on the spot, no answers are required, simply come and listen.
The course is led by Fraser and we will meet in Cardrona Village Hall at 7pm for about an hour on Tuesdays 30th Nov, 7th Dec, 14th Dec, 21st Dec.
